Step 1: Reclaim Fallen Western Red Cedar
We hike deep into the Cascade Mountains to locate old-growth Western red cedar left behind by logging operations of the early 1900s.
Step 2: Recover with Hand Tools and Helicopters
Using eco-conscious methods - including hand tools and helicopter airlifts - we recover cedar without disturbing the living forest.
Step 3: Workshop in Mount Vernon, Washington
We mill cedar in Skagit County, WA, and bring the lumber to our workshop located on beautiful Fir Island, between historic Conway and LaConner.
Step 4: Individually craft each home and garden piece
